When one walks into a ballet class, one expects to see multitudes of bun-heads in black leotards and pink tights politely practicing their pirouettes with nobody speaking in tones other than the dulcet ….. but at DS we do things a little differently and Thursday night was no exception! We spent the evening doing magic tricks to put the pizazz in port-de-bras and pretending to be Russian with the intension of injecting the dynamism in developé all aided, not by a spoonful of sugar but a measure of merriment, and a large one at that. What do you reckon we'll be doing next week - leaping like leprechauns? I guess you'll just have to come to class and find out for now you can just enjoy our motivational pirouette song:
